Johan Bjorklund

Chief Executive Officer

Johan Bjorklund is a senior executive leader combining rich telecommunications industry experience with a strategic and operational focus on building and growing the business. Having previously held a number of leadership roles in his 18 years at Ericsson, Johan has gained broad international market expertise leading business success in the US, APAC, and EMEA with a record of creating profitable business models in emerging business segments. His broad functional background includes executive P&L management, business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, customer service, vendor management, and integration and business optimizations. Johan took the helm of Betacom as Chief Executive Officer in September of 2019.

Terri Smith

Chief Financial Officer

Terri Smith has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, focused on delivering financial integrity in support of creating enterprise value and a positive customer experience. With expertise in areas such as accounting, reporting, analytics and automation, Terri has held multiple financial positions in public and private growth companies ranging from startups to $70B+ companies. Terri has successfully led financial teams in multiple large-scale M&A integration efforts as well as pioneering successful financial support processes tailored to accuracy and lean efficiency. During her tenure at T-Mobile, Terri developed innovative and strategic financial teams successfully transforming to a highly accurate and integrated environment. Terri joined Betacom as Executive Vice President Finance and Accounting in August 2022.

Infrastructure

Bruce Morrison

President, Infrastructure

Bruce Morrison started his career as a US Army officer and entered the communications industry with The Alaris Group as a principal in 2000. Alaris focused on site development and construction of wireless communications facilities before its sale to Parsons Corporation in 2005. Bruce remained with Parsons as a VP in their Commercial Technology Group until joining WesTower Communications in 2008. He joined Ericsson North America as Head of Network Build in 2013 with financial responsibility in excess of $1.5B US and later assumed the role of VP Radio Access Networks supporting Ericsson’s $1.3B US T-Mobile Customer Unit. Bruce joined Betacom as its President & Chief Operating Officer in September 2019. He has a Bachelor degree from the University of Washington and was a Distinguished Military Graduate.

Angelique Chamberlain

VP Business Development

Angelique Chamberlain started her career as an environmental liaison for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Over the last 20 years she has held various positions that empower private and public sector clients with revenue driven strategies that increase business capacity and accelerate innovation. She joined Betacom in January 2023 and serves as Vice President of Business Development. Angelique has held multiple leadership roles, including VP of Business Development at Mastec Network Solutions, Government Affairs at T-Mobile, and Board Member of the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Angelique is an alum of UCLA.

Jimi Buckner

VP Operations, East Region

Jimi Buckner has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of running wireless telecommunications construction projects. At Betacom he is responsible for running the Operations team in the Eastern half of the U.S., successfully and safely completing projects on time and on budget. Prior to joining Betacom, Jimi was an executive at SAC Wireless/Nokia, and a principal for a regional electrical contractor.

Kevin Maki

VP Operations, West Region

Kevin Maki has over 25 years of experience in running wireless telecommunications construction and service industry projects. At Betacom he is responsible for running the Operations team in the Western half of the U.S., successfully and safely completing projects on time and on budget. Prior to joining Betacom, Kevin held executive leadership positions at Ericsson and WesTower, and he originally gained his operator experience at Clearwire.

Michael Davies

VP Business Partner Strategy

Michael 'Mick' Davies leads strategic development and partnerships that position Betacom’s private wireless solutions at the heart of digital transformation. With over 30 years of wireless communications experience, Mick helps customers define industrial IoT use cases and deploy the right technologies to achieve positive business outcomes. Prior to joining Betacom, Mick led business development, operations, engineering, and program management teams at companies including Ericsson.

Asad Vaince

VP Customer Solutions and Engineering

As the chief architect for Betacom’s 5GaaS solutions, Asad Vaince leads all aspects of private wireless design, engineering, and management. His 18 years of wireless experience includes 4G and 5G projects for major mobile operators, as well as hundreds of CBRS, neutral host, and DAS deployments at airports, enterprises, and industrial facilities. Prior to joining Betacom, Asad held positions at Boingo Wireless and T-Mobile.
